After being closed for a few months , the Casino reopened on June 1st. Masks being required. With regulations & studies changing; beginning September 1st, the casino's face covering requirements are changing again. No longer are you allowed wearing bandanas, neck gaiters, balaclavas and face masks with vents or valves, according to a news release.
Pechanga leadership cited a recent study from Duke University showing
that these types of face covering offer little protection against the spread of
"The enhancement to the resort/casino's comprehensive safety measures is put in place for the health and safety of guests, team members and the community. The new face mask requirement will be enforced at all times,'' Pechanga officials said.
Also according to casino officials, Pechanga also requires temperature checks for all persons entering the resort, mandates physical distancing between parties and banned indoor smoking.
